Connected At The Hip

SONY DSC

Mandy and Renner…not really connected at the hip, though Mandy might be more than happy if it were true.  Mandy has been with us for about 6 months and though this very people shy girl has opened up she still does a lot of hiding behind Renner.  Renner was like that when he first came to us many years back but now is pretty comfortable at playing people shield and big brother to Miss Mandy.

This week’s pet blog hop hosted by Life With Dogs, Two Little Cavaliers and Confessions of the Plume. If you’d like to participate, please follow the rules and follow your three hosts, add your blog to the Linky and copy and paste the html code into your html editor (found at Life With Dogs, Two Little Cavaliers and Confessions of the Plume). Thanks again to our hosts for putting on the hop!

  • I always love that dynamic between the hounds! Treat was the outgoing social butterfly, and Hawk was the one who’d hang back, but he was the protector, too. If there were people he didn’t like the looks of, he was between them and Treat and me. He’d never stand up for himself, but he would always protect Treat.

I still love how complimentary Renner and Mandy are! They just somehow look like they were made to go together.

    • Mandy is a sweet girl, but a handful. Renner is Mr. Smooth…. they do go pretty well together as Renner is very giving…Mandy quite demanding. Some may well have to do with their ages but they do compliment each other – I have to agree with you.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Always glad to chat with you.

  • Oh! And my site is a little different from yours. I’m on WordPress, but it’s hosted through Fat Cow, so I’m able to put the blog hop code in through my html editor. I know it’s different for WordPress sites, and there’s a special code they post for WordPress, but I’m not exactly sure how it works.

I also see I’m behind in keeping up with you! Gah! I’m so sorry! I thought I had you followed so I could see updates, but I need to work that out better.

  • Hi Houndstooth,
I know…it’s ok, I have not been able to get a feed to your new blog going. I am following you but not being alerted to your new posts.

    A bit frustrating.

I will have to check and see a better way here. I have a website via Go Daddy, I will have to see if I can get my WP blog to go through there. Meanwhile I have lost a lot of blogging friends and I *do* miss them. I will have to make contact with them again and see how they are all doing.

  • Great to see that they have someone to “lean” on! We’d all be happier dog owners if we just invested a little bit of time. Dropping by on the blog hop today. That’s what the world needs today – another talking cat – but it’s cute! Stop by my blog http://www.pet-peeves.org to see a cat say “Let me in” at his owner’s window.
